Why Aviation Security International (ASI) is becoming Transport Security International (TSI) in 2021.
2020 has certainly been an unusual and interesting year. Brexit. Climate change. Wildfires in California and Australia. Economic uncertainty. Civil unrest and a racial reckoning. A deluge of refugees and humanitarian needs. And of course, the elephant in the room: COVID. One thing is certain. When crises converge, security is at risk.
Therefore, our established publication Aviation Security International has decided to not only to continue to be at the forefront of its core Aviation Security but now broaden its remit to also cover the broader transport security landscape under the new name of Transport Security International.
We see the synergies between the all modes of transport and the crucial need to share insights between these areas for comprehensive understanding of what is happening across the board. There will be a new website in December 2020 and the first new quarterly issue (all formats) from Spring 2021, which will encompass this synergy and showcase the importance of security, as a whole, in all modes of transport.
