8 SEPTEMBER 2020: CALGARY, CANADA

A WestJet flight from Calgary to Toronto was cancelled after a passenger, Safwan Choudhry, who was travelling with his wife and two young children, allegedly clashed with cabin crew. Choudhry claims his family was unfairly removed from the flight because crew tried to force his 19-month-old daughter to wear a mask, despite her being legally exempt from doing so since she is under the age of two. However, the crew claimed it was actually his three-year-old daughter who was not wearing a mask, although Choudhry disputed this.
