Dubai Airport Modernizing Security Processes

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is beginning to use a new security technology designed to make the passenger screening process more efficient and convenient.

With the new systems, travelers will no longer need to routinely remove laptops, liquids, shoes, belts and other items during security checks.

The airport is always investing in new security technology to improve the passenger experience, according to Paul Griffiths, Dubai Airports CEO. Griffiths added that the days of removing belts, shoes and other items during security screening are gradually becoming a thing of the past.

The upgraded security machines are already being introduced across DXB as part of an ongoing program to modernize the airport experience.
