Houthi’s Target Israeli Airport, Flights Halted

Reports say Iranian-backed rebels in Yemen launched missels on Sunday, May 4 and briefly halted flights and commuter traffic at Israel’s main international airport. The impact of one missile left a plume of smoke and wreaked havoc among the waiting passengers.

Houthi rebels have been attacking Israel throughout the war in Gaza to show their solidarity with Palestinians. The attack on Ben-Gurion International Airport came just prior to when Israeli Cabinet ministers were going to vote on intensifying the country’s military operations in the Gaza strip or not.
