Israel bombs Yemen’s Hodeidah Port In Retaliation of Attack Near Tel Aviv Airport

The Israeli military carried out air strikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah port and a cement factory, the day after Houthi’s sent missiles that struck close to Ben Gurion International Airport outside Tel Aviv. The Israeli’s are claiming the sites they targeted were used to support Houthi operations against Israel.

The Monday strikes injured 21 people, according to the Houthi-run health ministry spokesman Anees al-Asbahi, but later the numbers were upped to include three people were killed and 87 wounded. The attacks were near an oil depot and electrical installations were also hit.

“The Hodeidah seaport serves as a hub for the transfer of Iranian weapons and equipment for military needs,” the Israeli army said in a statement.
